The Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon weekend is a multi-race event, offering 4 different distances. Saturday gets started at 8 am with our 5k and is followed by our Kids 1.2 mile race 10:30. Sunday is our Marathon and Half Marathon, both of which start at 7am and run along the gulf, providing gorgeous views the entire way. The half and full marathons finish up in the Shuckers stadium, allowing runners to relax in the stadium, sample some great good, drink some beer and watch runners finish on the jumbotron. We also offer a Double Down option for runners who want to run on both days.

The Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon course features a fast, flat, BQ-friendly path along the coast from Pass Christian to Biloxi. The course is a USATF Certified Boston Qualifier route and offers unobstructed beach views and a takes you past some of the coast’s most historic and beautiful homes

Join us on the coast for the fastest growing race distance in the country: the half marathon. While the Mississippi Gulf Coast Half Marathon may only be half the distance, it’s all the fun you need with 13.1 miles of unobstructed beach views.
8:00 am Start – Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, Point Cadet Plaza, Biloxi, MS
A 5K that everyone from the most experienced runner to the couch-to-5K-first-timer can appreciate. Toe the line with Mississippi locals and travelers striving to secure a Double Down award for running both days, with sprinters, joggers, and walkers. Post-Race festivities will include local cuisine and beer.
9:30 am Start – Saturday, Dec. 15, 2019, Point Cadet Plaza, Biloxi, MS
The Kids Marathon is a 1 mile race designed as a way to introduce kids to the joy and rewards of running at an early age and promote an active family lifestyle.
3:00 pm Start – Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, Harrah’s Great Lawn, Biloxi, MS
The Beer Mile is a 1-mile race combining running and speed drinking. The race is a 4-loop course around The Blind Tiger on Harrah’s Great Lawn. Runners must drink a 12-ounce beer before beginning each loop. There is a 4-person relay wave at 3:00 pm and an individual wave at 4:00 pm. Come run or watch this high energy event and hangout with your running buddies before the big races Sunday.
We have partnered with Honey Stinger and Run-N-Tri Pacing to provide a free pace group program for all of our runners. We will have 11 pace groups for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon and 6 pace groups for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Half Marathon.
