Overview
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon features a full marathon, half marathon, 5K and Kids marathon all wrapped up in a multi-day race with a fun festival as the post-race party. All runners receive the following:
- participant shirt
- bib with a timing chip

- aid stations every 1.5 miles

Are you up to the challenge? Do you enjoy a shakeout run before your big race? If so, then sign up for the Double Down Award and receive a coveted crawfish tray.
HOW TO REGISTER AND HOW TO CONFIRM DOUBLE DOWN STATUS
Register for a particular Double Down package on our Get Me Registered booking engine or register for your two races separately – either way we will have you on the list. We will track and cross-reference participants in the database, and you can confirm registrations with getmeregistered.com or at the Expo at packet pick up.
TO REDEEM YOUR AWARD
After your Sunday race, go to the Official Awards tent to pick up your Double Down Award. Then enjoy your tray at your next seafood boil! Be sure to take a few photos and share your tray in action on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
Beach~2~Bayou
Run any distance at The Louisiana Marathon and at our sister event, The Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon and receive a third medal. You can run a 5K at each , a half marathon at each or mix and match distances – 5K at one and Half at the other and qualify for the Beach~2~Bayou challenge medal. Learn More >>
